Time to Get Serious about #NoExcuses & Mad Pumped about 2015!

Today is the Official start of the #NoExcuses Challenge! Super Exciting!

I've written you a letter, so get ready:

Hey 2015, it’s me Brooke (no cool nickname) (nickname, spirit animal, real name, blog name)

This year I would like to run as many marathons as my body & wallet can handle, Teach more yoga, and take more family adventures.

It would also be super duper awesome if I also did an off Island/ Mainland Marathon this year. It’s not a resolution, though, just a reminder to myself to try and have the best year yet because Damn it I DESERVE it!

The thing I am looking forward to most this year is Watching our son start Kindergarten (A true beginning for him and new opportunity for myself to get more involved in the fitness community.

I’ll use the one thing that truly gets me out of bed in the morning which is Running or Yoga to help me get up, get my body breathing (verb) and get after my #NoExcuses 2015.

Speaking of excuses (ahem), my very favorite excuse is I don't have a babysitter and I have used it to get out of  subbing classes for other instructors and joining in on girls night out on more than TOO Many to count (number) occasions.

I vow to move my body and be more healthy this year even if it means I have to Give up one sweet treat.

Even if my alarm clock gets eaten by the dog in the middle of the night, I'll still get up and get moving (good thing I don't have a dog.



My family [job, hair, car, husband, kids] is NOTt the reason I make excuses. I will show my family [same as before] who's boss this year and get my BUTI, Yoga, XY, Spin body [type of sweaty activity] on

I know that Yoga, Running, Meditation and watching my son ride is bike[type of workout] is better than sitting at home playing on my phone! [noun]

I will reward myself by BEING HAPPY!!!!! SMILING & LAUGHING! And maybe buy a new pair of yoga pants and maybe two more pairs of running shoes on top of the two I've already bought.

No Excuses 2015 has just begun and already I am imagining myself a winner. I can’t wait to rock a tank (article of clothing) from Augusta Active. I can’t wait till my sweaty friends are jealous of how fresh, clean and stinky free (adj) I am between workouts with help from ShowerPill body wipes. I can see myself rocking Handstands [yoga pose / workout move] in new leggins[article of clothing from Actio926] from Actio926 and looking fit and fly while doing it. And of course, I’ll be taking my workouts to the next level and improving my stamina [noun] with my new ActivMotion Bar to help me train for my next  Ultra 50k or hopefully my first 100 miler[distance] race with Sasquatch Racing.

Oh, and let’s not forget how amazing my Yoga & Run [article of clothing] will smell in my / during my Yoga classes and running on the roads [favorite type of workout] after washing with some WIN Detergent. And lastly, I’ll keep rocking my 2015 with clean eats and nutrition from Beaming with Health!
