Happy Friday friend's! I'll keep this one super short & semi sweet.
It's a papaya kind of afternoon with my son Whistler. (He didn't want to be pictured).
•Pick your papayas on the greener side, just before they turn completely yellowish orange. Among the many health benefits papaya offers is the enzyme papain, which is used to aid digestion. According to the World's Healthiest Foods website, papain is most concentrated in unripe papayas.
(Your tummy will love you & your little ones too! )
•scoop the inside seeds out (let your child/ children help on this part) active & involved!
• Grab the yogurt of your choice (we choose Greek Goddess Honey)
• Blueberries on top!
And there you have it - like I said super short & semi sweet. You don't have to go overboard with ingredients. Keep it simple.
Less is truly more! !
☆ Hey yogis, this is a good choice (2-3 hours) before yoga. It's gentle on the stomach for those of you who refrain from eating before yoga like I do. It works with your digestive system, not against.
